After what seems like forever, I am now excited to announce season two of The Huntsman which is coming in 2024! Thanks to our friends at the Foxtel Aurora Channel, this season won’t just be exclusive to The Huntsman YouTube channel. Season 2 is making its TV debut on Foxtel Australia!
Where: Get ready for a stellar season with episodes filmed all across Australia. We’ll take you on pig hunting adventures, goat hunts, deer and fox management in New South Wales, fallow buck hunting in South Australia during the rut, Camel, Red and Chital deer hunting in Queensland, Sambar stag hunting in Victoria’s High Country and alpine regions, and a Hog deer stag hunt during the Hog deer season. It’s going to be an action-packed season and filled with unforgettable moments.
When: Pre-production is already underway and filming will kick off in early February 2024. We’re planning on releasing an episode each month from February 2024, with the final episode airing in November 2024. Stay tuned for Foxtel Aurora episode air dates and times as we approach the end of the year.
What: The season will feature 10x 24 min full length hunting episodes released on both Foxtel (via the Aurora channel) and The Huntsman YouTube channel. But that’s not all. If you’re a long time viewer of the YouTube channel we want to provide you with even more value. Viewers of The Huntsman YouTube channel will also enjoy 10 bonus and exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ videos, giving you a raw and unfiltered look into the nitty-gritty elements of each hunt.
Who: While we can’t share the details of the show’s cast just yet, we can promise that some familiar faces you know and love will be returning, along with some new guests who we’re sure you’ll enjoy.
Sponsors: Season Two wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of some outstanding Australian hunting businesses.
Beretta Australia continues as our premier sponsor for season 2, with their exceptional firearm brands such as Tikka and Sako maintaining their reputation as the best in the country. We are excited to announce the return of Eagleye Hunting Gear, another valued supporter from Season One. In addition to providing a diverse selection of high-quality pest control shooting products, Eagleye Hunting Gear distinguishes itself by manufacturing its own outstanding gear. Their inventory includes must-have kits that every avid hunter should consider.
This season, we’re also excited to introduce five new sponsors. First we are excited to welcome Lowa onboard, known for arguably making the best hunting boots in Australia. Our team are excited to take these boots out and push them to their limits. The second new sponsor we are welcoming are Tassie Tiger Knives. Known across the country for producing some of the best quality hunting knives available, that’s why Tassie Tiger Knives continue to be stocked in hundreds of our favourite Australian Hunting and Fishing stores. Also sponsoring the show is Evolution Gear, Australia premium hunting case manufacture and brand. Decking our team out in brilliant hunting apparel, we are excited to announce that Ridgeline Australia are also supporting the show. Helping fill our bellies with the brilliant Carnivore Collective range of products is Wangaratta’s famous DIY cooking company, and our next sponsor, My Slice Of Life. Finally, rounding out the team are NZ’s best boutique hunting and tactical gear manufacture and brand, Twin Needle.
Stay tuned to our Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok accounts, as we’ll be announcing more information about the show as we get closer to the end of the year. Keep an eye on our social media channels for all the latest updates.
