Yes, you read the title correctly, the South Australian Government is slaughtering 40,000 deer leaving them to rot on the ground thanks to their ill advise South Australian Feral Deer Eradication Program. This program is not only a colossal waste of tax payers money, it’s execution is unethical and to top it off it’s a terrible solution to manage the deer populations.
Most recently the program has gone a step further is now threating to pass on the bill for the ineffective ariel culling’s to the land owners on whose property the deer reside.
This program has to stop.
